Consolation Ministry
The Consolation Ministry serves grieving families with compassion and faith as they journey through the wake and funeral of a loved one. Volunteers assist in planning the funeral Mass, welcome mourners to the church, and prepare a customized Mass booklet to help all present participate more fully in the liturgy. As a gesture of comfort, one of our parish bakers gifts the family with a cake to have on hand during the days of the wake and funeral.
This ministry is carried out by dedicated volunteers who are selected and trained according to the gifts and talents they bring to this sacred work. To learn more about the Consolation Ministry, please contact your parish office.
